Procedural Magic Carpet
A downloadable game
A flying carpet that bends and banks from the path it travels, not from animation clips.
This prototype explores a procedural approach to flight where every movement is generated in real time. Instead of relying on traditional animations, the carpet continuously reconstructs itself from the path it has traveled, allowing it to naturally bend, bank, and flow through the air as the player flies.
Built in Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprints, Control Rig, and Niagara.
How to Play
E — Mount / Dismount Carpet
Move Mouse — Steer the Carpet
Mouse Wheel Up
• First Scroll — Speed 1
• Second Scroll — Speed 2
Mouse Wheel Down
• First Scroll — Return to Speed 1
• Second Scroll — Brake
